About me

I am a licensed psychologist with over 20 years of experience providing individual, couples, and group psychotherapy for adults.  I received my doctorate (Ph.D.) in Counseling Psychology from Boston College in 2002.  I worked and trained for several years at an outpatient mental health clinic of Massachusetts General Hospital, and completed an APA-accredited internship at Suffolk University Counseling Center. After serving as Staff Psychologist/ Multicultural Specialist at Northeastern University Counseling Center, I moved from Boston to Brunswick, Maine, where I was the Associate Director and Director of Training at Bowdoin College Counseling Service for 10 years. After a move for 2 years to Seattle, Washington, where I had a private practice and also worked at the University of Washington, I returned to Maine and served as the Director of Counseling & Psychological Services at Bates College for 4 years.
